Things are definitely crazy.
I’ve got finals coming up this next week, and I’ve been working on designing a website with a friend. Between the two things, I’d like to say I barely have time for anything, but my ADD completely prevents me from focusing!
It’s bad enough as it is that I’m banging out rails code when I should be studying for finals!
School is drawing to a close and things are starting to get crazy. I’ve got an absolute boat-load of stuff to do! Its amazing how things just seem to pile up when you get near the end of a semester, particularly my last semester!
I’ve been working on Rails for the last couple of days, and I’ve got to say that I’m exceptionally impressed. The framework is definitely robust, and the availability of plugins is a huge plus for enhancing functionality.
I’ve been doing a bunch of work on the new Google Maps API. GMap2 is pretty impressive, and adds a bunch of new features. Unfortunately, Cartographer doesn’t support GMap2, so I had to completely hack it up to get support going. I can post my code if anyone needs or wants it. Eventually I’ll try and plug it back in to the cartographer site, but for right now it still needs a lot of work.
I’m at LGA right now, on my way back to ITH. I had a bunch of meetings with Shearman today, in anticipation of having to pick a practice group. I think it only made my decision more difficult! Oh well, I can’t wait to get finished with School and get down to NYC permanently, too bad work will get in the way!
I’m just kidding. I threw the picture up so I’d have an easy link to my smugmug gallery. I do really like the suits I got in Italy though!
