There are so many things I want to post here, but apparently all my time is being taken up by bar study. I just want to go on record as saying this daily show clip on the Stem Cell Veto is hilarious.
Needless to say, the stem cell veto is just obscene.
I’m pleased to see the judge rejected the claim of state secrets by the Bush administration, and denied the MTD by AT&T. The NSA wiretapping program is probably something that needs to see the light of day.
To be honest, going over Constitutional Law for the bar exam only makes that more clear.
The original PDF of the judge’s decision is located here.
It’s not long now. All i have is three days. That’s just ridiculous! I feel like I know NONE of this stuff.
You know the scene in the Matrix where Trinity calls up Tank? “Tank, I need a pilot program for a B-212 helicopter!” He just uploads it right to her brain. If I could only do that with McKinney’s (the annotated laws of New York).
If you haven’t studied for the bar, you probably don’t know exactly what its like. I’m not sure I know what its like, except to be thinking “Why, oh why, didn’t I take the blue pill?”
There have been a number of articles on iusethis recently, comparing it to digg and others. I like the idea in the short-term, but the reasons digg and the like work so well for news are the same reasons that the model will break down for persistent ranking. I’m not criticizing, I’m just saying that their ranking methodology for the ‘front page’ is going to have to change.
Some of these issues are discussed in Phill Ryu’s interview with the creators. Still, it would be interesting to know where they’re planning on going with all of this for the long term, and how they are going to maintain their momentum.
I’ve got to say, TextMate is an amazing blog platform. It is exactly what I need. For a long time I was using ecto, but even that seems a little “full featured” for me. All I really need is text support.
TextMate is quickly becoming my most used app on OS X.
I’ve been running sitemap.xml support on typo for a while now, but just recently scott integrated the sitemap patch i wrote into the tree. I think everything is working fine after a little hiccup associated with adding some _* prefixed files to the tree.
This is the (occasional) blog of Seth Chandler. Currently, I’m working in New York City as a lawyer, but in my past life I was a computer science major.
